Designed with an efficient, streamlined profile, they provide superior traction and floatation in variable winter terrain. A 360-degree traction frame, along with Pivot crampons deliver edge-to-edge grip, while lightweight decking offers floatation and durability. The DuoFit adjustable bindings deliver freeze-proof, glove-friendly, secure attachment to a wide range of footwear. For extra floatation in deep snow, optional 5-inch modular floatation tails (sold separately) can be attached to snowshoes. The MSR Lightning Trail Hiking Snowshoes are available in two sizes to accommodate a range of body weights/gear loads: 22-inch snowshoes measure 8 x 22 inches, weigh 3.19 pounds, and can carry a 180-pound load; 25-inch snowshoes measure 8 x 25 inches, weigh 3.38 pounds, and can carry a 220-pound load. Bindings fit men’s shoe sizes 4.5-15. Maximize maneuverability with the smallest snowshoe that will float body weight, plus gear (outerwear, backpack, trekking poles). Sold as a pair.
